I just noticed today that the motor expo in London will be holding a "Drive the Future" event. The expo will be taking place from the 6th-12th of June and the public can attend free of charge.
For those that don't know, Motorexpo is the world’s biggest free to visit motoring event. It features displays of the latest vehicles from the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. You can visit their website at http://www.motorexpo.com/

Quentin Wilson, who is a strong advocate of Hydrogen, will be championing the event. It will be the very first opportunity for the general public to experience all types of low carbon, high mpg, hybrid and electric vehicles in a full ride and drive facility.
In addition, I believe that ITM Power will have a live demonstration of their HFuel hydrogen refuelling unit onsite. |

The European Future Energy Forum is being held in the ExCel centre in London this week (19th-21st October). The Exhibition hosts over 200 market leading companies and provides important networking opportunities for those involved in the renewable energy sector.
The event is an initiative developed with Masdar (Abu Dhabi’s multi-billion dollar investment in the development and commercialisation of renewable energy technologies) and features support from a number of large organisations such as UK Trade & Investment, Siemens and Transport for London.
Lord Davies CBE, Minister for Trade, Investment and Small Business commented:
“The UK is the ideal centre for innovation and commercialisation, combining a pro-business climate, research excellence, strong institutions, a skilled workforce and receptive consumers.”

Prince Charles has spent the last week highlighting environmental issues. The final event was an Eco-Car show held in London. Although the show itself appeared to be restricted to Electric vehicles it does highlight that emissions are a growing concern.
Hopefully we will soon see the same excitement generated for hydrogen vehicles as well.
